Tom joined the firm in 2016 and brings a combination of accounting and financial expertise, supported by both Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualifications. His advice is grounded in both technical understanding and commercial reality.
He has a strong interest in business acquisitions, assessing opportunities, weighing risk, and guiding clients through the process from start to finish. It’s an area where detail and judgement matter equally.
He works closely with small to mid-sized businesses, supporting decisions that improve performance without adding unnecessary pressure or complexity. Clients value his responsiveness and clear explanations. You will always know where you stand and what your next step should be. Tom also serves as Trustee and Secretary of the Bay of Plenty Education Trust and Treasurer of Mainstreet Tauranga.
When he is not working, you will likely find him mountain biking, skiing or attempting a round of golf.
