Typical clients: Tom generally works with Western Bay based businesses with 3 to 30 staff across various industries including the trades, horticulture, and property. Business purchases Tom really enjoys assisting with these by helping manage the purchase process successfully and then helping with running a better business (which generally means the owner gets more free time, more money and less stress).Tom also has many tax clients with rental properties and investment portfolios.
Background: Work- prior to joining Ingham Mora in 2016, Tom was the financial controller for a large NZ forestry company and before that had 8 years as an auditor at a big four CA firm. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 he continued his education and obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2012. Other roles - Tom is a Trustee and Secretary of the Bay of Plenty Education Trust (since 2018) and is the Treasurer for Mainstreet Tauranga (since 2016).
