The Role

• Your role will be focused on a mix of compliance and advisory work including preparing accounts, GST’s, regularly monthly reporting and other compliance work.
• There will be the opportunity to do forward looking advisory work as this is a large growth area for us.
• The role is diverse and bursting with challenges, all you need is the enthusiasm to take them on.
• This role can be part time or full time, we are flexible on this.

Your skills and attributes

• You will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a New Zealand or Australian Chartered Accountants office
• Experience in completing GST returns, Annual Financial Statements and Tax returns
• Excellent communication skills including English as a first language or equivalent proficiency
• Strong computer literacy with a well-rounded knowledge of Xero, or the enthusiasm to learn what Xero has to offer
• Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks geared toward delivering a range of business services to a diverse portfolio
• A high standard of personal motivation and a genuine passion about your clients’ business
• Ambition to develop your career in a growing, dynamic practice
• Formal qualifications are preferred but not considered necessary
