Angela Powell

With over 30 years’ experience across legal firms in New Zealand and the UK, Angela brings a steady, practical approach to trust and estate administration. Her background gives her a strong understanding of trustee responsibilities, compliance requirements, and the detail needed to keep everything running as it should.

She oversees a large portfolio of trusts, working closely with trustees, beneficiaries, and professional advisors to make sure decisions are implemented correctly and in line with the Trust Deed and current legislation. That includes coordinating annual reviews, managing distributions, and ensuring obligations under the Trusts Act are met.

A key part of her work is helping trusts stay relevant as circumstances change. From succession planning through to estate administration, she focuses on making sure structures continue to reflect the intentions behind them - not just how they were originally set up.

Angela is known for her calm, organised approach and her ability to bring clarity to what can often feel complex or sensitive.

Originally from the Waikato, she has called Tauranga home since returning from the UK in 2005. Outside of work, she enjoys getting outdoors, working in the garden, and keeping up with family life.
